About Me
I am a NY State Licensed Clinical Psychologist, as well as a Certified School Psychologist. In my practice, I work with individuals across the lifespan to help them improve their lives and find joy, balance, and relief from challenges. I approach therapy from an integrative perspective, meaning I use my clinical expertise to tailor treatment to the needs of the individual. I use components of insight-oriented talk therapy to help clients address underlying concerns, notice patterns, and discuss their emotions, worries, and hopes, while also using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy skills and techniques, to help clients change their thoughts and behaviors in order to live a more fulfilling life.
I received my Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical and School Psychology from Pace University. I also hold a Master’s of Science in Education in School Psychology from Pace University and Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Fordham University.
I have experience working with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings. I am the Lower School Psychologist at an independent school in NYC, and I have also worked in public and charter schools. I have had experiences in mental health clinics, group therapy practices, in-patient units in a hospital, and in providing home-based services through NYC Early Intervention. I have served as an adjunct professor at several colleges and universities, teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses.
I also consult and work with schools to provide social and emotional support to their staff, faculty, students, and families.
